Dean Baer is a native of Wisconsin, USA. Dean has lived throughout the US and Europe and currently resides in the Washington DC area. He attended art school in Colorado in 1982 and then studied abroad in Germany and Italy.

Influenced by Michelangelo, Picasso and Van Gogh, he continues to explore his interest in the human form combining both Abstract and Impressionism, and describes his artwork as “Expressionist.”
